Burning Spice rant bc he's probably the most mischaracterized cookie in the game :broken_heart:
(I'm not very familiar w the lore cuz I hate reading but I'll probably update this later :broken_heart:)
Not gonna talk abt precorrupted BSC cuz idfk shit abt that :wilted_rose: But let's go into why he corrupted
Why he corrupted is pretty simple, don't know why people dumb him down so much. Since, like all of the beasts, hes immortal he
watched and watched and watched as so many kingdoms, so many beloved cookies crumbled down and died. So many kingdoms turn to dust.
There's only so much you can take before inevitably leading to the one road of destruction he did. He tried finding other ways, ways that
didn't include destruction but no matter what it all led to destruction. He was driven to insanity, if he couldn't save them then he would
just have to break the repeating cycle himself.
So no. He didn't do it just because he was bored, there was literally nothing he could do to protect the kingdoms.
Watching your very own first kingdom fall itself is maddening enough, but to watch it so many other times.
He quite literally had no choice.
For all we know he could be putting up an act, personally I wouldn't be so cheerful like him if I was trapped in a tree for centuries
after watching everything I love turn to dust for even more centuries before that.. :victory_hand::wilted_rose:
